The Housing Board has won six industry accolades.
Yesterday, it received five awards from the Singapore chapter of the International Real Estate Federation at its Singapore Property Awards. The federation, also known as Fiabci, has chapters in 48 countries.
The awards will qualify the winning projects to participate in next year's international Fiabci Prix d'Excellence Awards, widely considered among the most prestigious in the real estate industry.
The HDB also received a Prestigious Engineering Achievement Award from the Institution of Engineers Singapore.
The Fiabci Singapore Property Awards were given to five of its recent projects, including My Waterway @ Punggol, which received both the awards. The 4.2km man-made river meanders through Punggol Eco-Town.
Earlier this year, the project was presented with awards by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and the International Water Association.
Residential projects Casa Clementi and Ghim Moh Valley were recognised for strategies used to mitigate high densities, such as the introduction of roof gardens.
Greenwood Sanctuary @ Admiralty, a neighbourhood park where excess rainwater is collected in retention ponds, and the Punggol East residential district were also lauded.
